I DID NOT MENTION SBD'S "FAMILY" THE AUTHOR OF THE LETTER DID. AS I STATED IN THE BEGINNING, I WAS GOING TO QUOTE THE LETTER UNEDITED TO PREVENT ACCUSATIONS OF TAMPERING.
ALL PARTIES MENTIONED IN THE LETTER WERE ACCUSED IN TAKING PART IN THE INCIDENT, IE: SBD, RL1 AND A WOMAN PRESUMABLY HIS WIFE. IF THEY WERE PART OF THE BROADCAST THEN THEY DESERVE TO BE MENTIONED.

PUPPYGATE CONTINUED
AS STATED IN THE ORIGINAL PUPPYGATE ARTICLE, I HAD STARTED OUT WANTING TO LET QB WRITE THE ARTICLE. IN RETROSPECT THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A COP OUT ON MY PART. I AM THE ONE WHO BROUGHT THIS UP AND IT IS I WHO WILL WRITE THE ARTICLE.
I HAD RECIEVED TWO E MAILS FROM SOMEONE WHO CLAIMED TO BE A REGULAR ON THE BLOG TV BROADCAST WHERE THIS INCIDENT WAS ALLEGED TO HAVE TAKEN PLACE. THE REST OF THIS ARTICLE WILL BE HER ACCUSATION.
TO BE FAIR, HER LETTER CAME AFTER SBD MADE A COMMENT ABOUT HER ON HIS BLOG. IT MUST BE JUDGED ON THAT CONTEXT. SBD IS MORE THAN WELCOME AS IS RL1 TO OFFER THEIR INPUT ON THIS MATTER. I WILL PRINT ANYTHING THEY SAY WITHOUT EDITING.
THE FOLLOWING IS THE E-MAIL I RECIEVED;

the "donations" and the crapola that ensued had to do with his BIL. Apparently and as I remember he was broke...his brother (or her brother) dropped children off with them. In any event...they were "fostering". They took donations on the site (and I think, but not positive) that SBD was trying to raise funds to bring the kids from wherever they were to reside with RL1 and his wife. It was quite the talk of the chat.
Then we get to the "puppy thon". Do you know what SBD's BIL did with that or or you interested? That's a hoot. That turned out to be a *TOTAL FAKE*. That puppy-thon was a *fake fund raiser* - RL1 was called out because there were donations to the ASPCA (or whatever the kennel is called in his state). He actually lied online and someone who had donated and called in to the ASPCA caught him. It was quite embarrassing for him. In fact, the mention of "puppy-thon" puts that guy in a tizzy. This was like a marathon fund raiser so that RL1 could raise enough money to adopt this dog from the pound. GO FIGURE. It was all BULLSHIT. Ultimately, I believe, the pics he put up and the bullshit he spewed was bullshit. The dog he was posting was NOT EVEN AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. He, like SBD, is a POS.
NEXT IS THE SECOND LETTER.
Interestingly enough, it WAS SBD who spear-headed it. The reciepient was BIL RL1 - but Tracy Roddy was the one who set it up. See...to begin with, I felt it was a FAKE. This was like a 24 hour deal - and RL1 was supposed to be raising enough $$$ to get this dog his children (& fosters then) from the pound, including getting them food, shots..etc. Allegedly he had already picked out the dog, been approved (signed up, etc) and was just waiting to take it home. Well, some FNuts (actually, I think it was AngelinFL but DON't quote me) sent him the $$$$ to get the dog from the pound, etc.
Somehow, within that day, somebody called the local animal shelter where RL1 was supposedly getting the dog (I think it had been on TV or something as a promo) and they stated that the dog had ALREADY BEEN ADOPTED. Chatter confronted RL1 with that and he denied it but ultimately admitted he did not, in fact, adopt the dog (yet he took marathon donations to do so). That's in a nutshell. I do have some screen caps from that fiasco. RL1 got ugly and defensive but admitted that he lied. The dog he was doing the "puppy-thon" was no longer available at the shelter. Had already been adopted.
THE FINAL PART
OK - I want to try to get more specific on the "puppy thon" and the "donations" that ultimately drove SBD and his BIL into hiding.
As best as I can recollect - there were some BLOGTV hosts doing fundraisers (ie: DFizzy,REV somebody, Whoners)....there were like marathon fund raisers for some charity. This was like a long weekend and lots 'o drama between the few for the 24 hr marathon. that's the only reason I even tapped into blogTV - just to see how each was doing.
DonkeyKong RL1 decided to have a "marathon" ....a puppy/adoption marathon at the time. that's how I remember it. It was like a 24 hour fund raiser. He took alot of *flak* from it...but also had some supporters. I'm guessing more flak than supporters.
End result....he put up a pic of a dog that he said he adopted. OOPS....there was a woman out of state that had sent him money, to whom he had provided the dog pix, docs,etc...and she contacted the local shelter and they told her THAT DOG HAD ALREADY BEEN ADOPTED...and, Oops....BEFORE THE puppy-thon. Verifiable. This was NOT RL1's.
Now, all the ppl that felt sorry for RL1 - wanted to send $$$ and did send $$$ for his new puppy (to help his new neices get adjusted) - they were PISSED. Remember, RL1 told everyone this dog was for his NEW FAMILY and the needs this dog would have.
So much for the puppy-thon!!!!! RL1 is an even bigger bullshitter than SBD.
Now, reader, you can judge for yourself if this is an accurate rendition of the event or the revenge of someone who felt wronged by SBD mentioning her.
I am staying neutral. My only question is that with this SAME accusation about me coming around the exact same time as the accusations made against SBD and RL1, why did SBD go down the road of accusing me of almost the same thing?
UPDATE: AS REQUESTED I HAVE PROVIDED RL1 WITH THE INFORMATION HE REQUESTED REGARDING THE ACCUSATION NOTED ABOVE.
AS I HAVE SAID EARLIER, HE AND SBD ARE FREE TO POST WHATEVER REBUTTAL THEY WISH. PERHAPS NOW THEY KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE FALSELY ACCUSED.

THE CULPRIT
It appears we are again in this game of "who is it?" or "who did it."
ALL sides of the blog war going on seem to have their pet culprit in mind. SBD wrote me that he has strong feelings about who he feels is behind the involvement of his son in our dispute.
I have asked him to be extremely careful and to be absolutely certain of who it is he feels did this horrible thing. The individual who did this is going to have a lot of anger vented in their direction and I certainly would not like it to be an innocent person who is the recipient of that anger.
I would like to offer this suggestion. Whoever made the comment and brought SBD'S son into the mix needs to come clean. It is better to make amends now than to have it come out later as it will. These things have a way of being found out.
What you did was a mistake of the worst order. Hiding from it will be an even worse mistake. SBD is like me. He will not rest until he finds out who would do such a thing.
I will say this. If you are a supporter of mine, I do not want your support. I do not want anyone in my corner capable of doing such a cuel thing.
The debate has lost focus and have drawn the innocent children of the adults into this and this is wrong.
I hope we have all learned an important lesson here. Let us regain some perspective as to what drew us together in the first place.
The missing and exploited children out there. It would be nice of all of us could draw our attention to THEM and not to who did what?
