FREAKING OUT ABOUT FARMVILLE

IT SEEMS THAT THE WOMAN SCORNED HAS AN ISSUE WITH FARMVILLE. SHE SEEMS TO FORGET THAT IT WAS HER AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE CHAT THAT TOLD ME ABOUT THE FACEBOOK GAMES.

THE THING I LIKE ABOUT THE FACEBOOK GAMES IS THAT THERE IS NO DRAMA, NONE, PERIOD.

IT IS ONE OF THE FEW PLACES WHERE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE CAN INTERACT ON THE INTERNET  AND WHERE NOBODY IS GOING TO RUN AROUND AND BASH EACH OTHER.

MY HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED SINCE THAT PHOTO WAS TAKEN.

THERE ARE BUT A FEW WHO KNOW THE SIGNIFICANCE OF WHY THAT GATHERING TOOK PLACE.

I HAVE HAD AT LEAST A DOZEN REQUESTS TO POST THIS THING AND I DECIDED, "WHAT THE HAY?"

IT SEEMS OUR RESIDENT ANALYST HAS BEEN THROWING TANTRUMS FOR QUITE SOME TIME. THE BLOG THAT IS IN THE STORY IS MARKED PRIVATE INVITE ONLY, SO PERHAPS YOU INSIDERS CAN GET AN INVITE FROM YOUR RESIDENT HERO.

Apparently I’m an Asshat

The woman who runs DesktopDetective probably doesn’t know it, but “asshat” is one of our favorite words here at The Stranger, having first come to our attention as a suggested descriptor for President Bush.
Now, apparently, I’m an asshat for writing the following paragraph in this story about Kyle Huff:

A woman who wanted to be identified only as Michelle, and who runs the local blog desktopdetective.blogspot.com, said she has talked to three different young people who believe they may have seen Kyle at a few raves and electronic-music parties over the past three months. She could not immediately make those people available to The Stranger, however. More compellingly, a post dated February 1 from kylehuff23@hotmail.com was found on the guest book of a local woman’s website after the killings. The message asks for information about upcoming parties. “Hey, I’ve never been to a rave in Seattle,” it reads. “Was wondering if anyone could tell me when one is coming up.” Kim Dietemann, who operated the site, contacted the police about the message.

Michelle appears to be mad that I didn’t just take her word that three different young people had seen Kyle Huff at parties in the last few months. Sorry, Michelle, but it would have been pretty sloppy journalism for me to have just taken the word of an anonymous blogger, and not to have asked to speak directly to the people who you say saw Huff. As for needing to hear from them within two hours—like I told you, my deadline was coming up in two hours, and if I was going to get their stories into my story for this week’s Stranger, I needed to hear from them before my deadline. But I think you’re exaggerating how demanding I was. As I also told you, I would be happy to talk to these people for a future story if they’re not ready to talk yet.

ARE THEY EVER GOING TO STOP AND MOVE ON?

 WEL, IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND THE "DETRACTORS" ARE STILL AT IT. IT SEEMS SOME PEOPLE JUST CANNOT LET GO.

I REMAINED HERE, ON THIS SMALL BLOG. I DID NOT CREATE THE MULTITUDE OF SMEAR BLOGS AGAINST ME AND "MY SKIRTS" AS THEY LIKE TO CALL THEM.

THEY DID THAT. THEY CLAIM THAT THIS SITE IS ONLY READ BY A DOZEN OR SO PEOPLE ( MOSTLY THEM)

THEY POKE FUN OF ME IF I LIVE OUTSIDE THE DRAMA THEY ACCUSE ME OF (FARMVILLE AND "TREE HUGGING") THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.


I THINK YOUR THOUGHTS, DETRACTORS, ARE LOUD AND CLEAR. THE BLOGS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE. THE LINKS TO THE PM'S ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE.

I DID NONE OF THAT. NO CARTOON SITES. NO PORNOGRAPHIC IMAGERY WITH THE FACES OF MY DETRACTORS ON THEM. NOTHING.

I CERTAINLY DID NOT CREATE AN IMPERSONATOR FACEBOOK PAGE AND MISREPRESENT THE CONTENTS OF ANY PHOTOBUCKET SITE AND ANY ARTICLES WRITTEN BY ANYONE.

SO WHY NOT DO SOMETHING USEFUL WITH YOUR LIFE LIKE BE WITH YOUR FAMILY OR GO OUT AND HELP IN THE COMMUNITY?


YOU CHIDE ME FOR GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE HOMELESS ISSUE. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HELP THE HOMELESS? WHY NOT START THERE?

I HAVE YET TO SEE ANY OF YOU START A BLOG, A FORUM, OR A CHAT FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE THEN TO SMEAR ME.

IS SMEARING ME THE ONLY LOT IN LIFE FOR YOU?

 
ARE THE WOMEN BEHIND ALL THIS "THAT SCORNED?"

HOW PATHETIC.

YOU ACCUSE ME OF CREATING THE DRAMA. DO WHAT YOU HAVE CLAIMED TO HAVE DONE IN THE PAST, IGNORE ME AND MY "RANTS." 

GO AND HANG OUT AT YOUR OWN TRASH SITE.
